Welcome to Home of Wellness in 2023.

The present day is a time of great change. We are witnessing rapid advancements in technology, medicine and science, and the way we live our lives has been transformed by these changes. In particular, the last ten years have seen another dramatic shift in public consciousness. We have moved from seeing wellness from a clinical and medical standpoint to embracing it as part of our personal and professional lives.

This is the story of how we came to live in a world where wellness is no longer an option, but a necessity. In the last ten years, we have seen another dramatic shift in public consciousness that has led to an entirely new paradigm for both healthcare and work. The job market has been transformed with new roles such as ‘Chief Wellness Officer’ now commonplace across the corporate sector. More companies are hiring employees (and even entire divisions) whose role is solely devoted to managing their own physical and mental well-being – from nutritionists to personal trainers and meditation coaches.

These are people who are tasked with managing the physical and mental well-being of their employees by creating healthy environments for them to work in, providing support services such as counseling or advice on nutrition, and encouraging a positive company culture that supports wellbeing. The importance of having a Chief Wellness Officer in place cannot be overstated: not only does this person help create environments where employees can flourish both at work and outside of it (e.g., by working with companies on their employee benefits), but they also act as an advocate within the business itself, driving forward initiatives designed to make it easier for staff to do their best work while keeping themselves happy and healthy at all times.
