Meet The Team

Dr. Jason O'Connor, PT MBA
Having been raised in the surrounding greater Pittsburgh area, I've always had a strong passion for sports leading me to a career in physical therapy. I'm passionate about helping people achieve their full potential and return to the activities they love the most. I founded Renu Health on the premise of providing excellent one-on-one care with greater value than traditional physical therapy practices. I pride myself on trasparency, access, and value driven care. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my wife of 5 years and our newborn daughter. Some of my favorite hobbies include strength training and spending time outdoors as a family with our Golden Retriever, Handsome. Feel free to contact me anytime!

Dr. Kerina Maharaja, PT
Growing up I always had an interest in health care and as I moved towards a career path, I wanted to have a role where I could focus on the quality of my time with patients vs. quantity. This passion and drive is what lead to me becoming a physical therapist. After working for many years, including during COVID, in large hospital systems - I realized I wanted a role within physical therapy that would help me serve patients in an environment they felt safe and comfortable in. This started my journey in digital health. For the last 2 years, I've been working for various companies that provide Telehealth Physical Therapy services to patients from the comfort of their own home. I'm sure, like you, I was skeptical at first about how I could successfully treat a patient's condition without having any physical touch. It has been my experience, that patients treated via Telehealth have improved recovery and experiences with therapy as it makes the journey and recovery more specific to each patient - as it should be. I am excited for what the future of digital healthcare can bring to patients. When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my husband and sweet dog Lulu, watching the Steelers, traveling the world and being a tourist in my current hometown of New York City. Please feel free to reach out anytime!
